Goal & Outcome Measures

Goal and Outcome Measures (GOMs) are established by each department and are broken down by 5 major categories:

  • Organizational Management
  • Customer Service Standards
  • Efficiency Measures
  • Improvement Goals
  • Sustainability Initiatives

Departments are scored based on the number of goals established and met. The final scores for each department are used to recognize departments and employees at the end of each year. You can find the goals for each department in our Goal and Outcomes archive. Also see our Annual City-Wide Results.
