At this time, the portal can only be used for building permits. It is not yet configured to accept other permit types, e.g., fire, right-of-way, tree permits, etc.
Before You Begin
Talk to a Planner
Contact the Planner of the Day (POD) at the Planning Department to confirm that there are no land use issues associated with your project.
For residential projects that impact any aspect of the building’s exterior, you also will need to submit for the Planning Department’s review the Residential Design Standards checklist (PDF).

Upload Your Files

When all of your documents are ready, complete the Permit Submission Form and upload your plan set and document files.
Do not submit your files until your entire submission is ready as incomplete submissions will not be processed.
Please note, depending on your project, you may require additional permit types.

A Permit Coordinator will contact you about next steps within 7-10 business days and provide you with a fee estimate. Submittal fees must be paid before your permit can be put into the review queue.
