The City of Aspen Engineering Department is responsible for mitigating the impact of construction, keeping our city safe for the traveling public, protecting the water quality of the Roaring Fork River, and providing engineering technical support services.

Construction Mitigation Plan Requirements
Before submitting a CMP, you must complete and successfully pass the online CMP training course. Your training course certificate must be attached to the submitted CMP.
Permitting System
To start the registration process for the permit management system, you will need to sign in to get system access.

New 2019 Construction Mitigation Plan Requirements

Utility Development Review Fees
We recently completed an audit of our utility development review fees and have discovered we will need to collect additional fees on those permits where we under collected. If this applies to your permit, you will be contacted directly.
