The City of Aspen and Kids First provide financial aid for childcare. The application for the May 1, 2020 deadline has been postponed. Please read below.Girl with Calculator

Parents are eligible to apply if you:

  • Have a child under 5
  • Have a child attending a participating licensed Pitkin County childcare program
  • Work or live in the Aspen Urban Growth Boundary
  • Qualify financially
  • Work during the hours your child receives care

May 1 Annual Financial Aid Deadline Postponed

The Financial Aid May 1 deadline has been postponed. Future date is yet to be determined. Remember that you will need your 2019 federal tax information so file your taxes if possible. Then you will be ready when we are able to accept new applications..

Drive-through FOOD DISTRIBUTION (ASPEN) will be at the Aspen Schools Wednesday, April 1st from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. If you can not attend the drive through call AFC and they will organize a delivery.

Drive-through FOOD DISTRIBUTION (BASALT) will be at Basalt Middle School, Thursday, April 2nd at 12:00pm.

Please do not come if you are sick. Have it delivered instead!
