  1. Monthly Castle Creek Bridge/Hallam Street Project Update

    The Castle Creek Bridge / Hallam Street Improvement Project team invites the community to participate in a monthly project update meeting occurring at 4 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month in the Sister Cities room at City Hall. Each meeting will cover upcoming work schedules and traffic impacts.   1. Sheriff's Cup for Huts for Vets

    June 24, 2018, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Aspen Golf Club

    This is a public charity event with all net proceeds benefiting Huts for Vets. The day starts with yoga on the green at 8:15a (anticipating 30 participants), followed by a 5k run around the golf course (anticipating 50 runners with $25fee/donation). At 12:30p the Sheriff’s Cup for Huts for Vets Golf Tournament will start (this is registration only/foursomes cost $1000/ea)

  2. Bicycle Tour of Colorado

    June 24, 2018, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ From Independence Pass, left on Original, right on Durant, right on Garmisch, left on Hopkins, left on 7th to bike path. Bike path to Cemetery Lane and on to Carbondale

    This 7-day, epic road cycling tour will begin June 24th, 2018 in Leadville, CO, the highest incorporated city in the United States at an elevation of 10,152 feet. From Leadville we will be cycling over Independence pass at 12,095 ft - the highest paved pass in Colorado!

    Bike to Work day is a City of Aspen sponsored event. All bike and walk commuters are welcome to stop by Paepcke Park for treats and information giveaways. An educational guided group ride will also be offered to provide tips on riding in traffic and some basic bike handling skills.
