The Castle Creek Bridge / Hallam Street Improvement Project team invites the community to participate in a monthly project update meeting occurring at 4 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month in the Sister Cities room at City Hall. Each meeting will cover upcoming work schedules and traffic impacts. Following the meetings, there will also be a conference call recap at 5 p.m.

Aspen Strong Foundation will host their fifth annual Hike Hope Heal at Herron Park. Hike and picnic fundraising event to raise awareness for mental health, addiction, and suicide prevention. Participants will hike from the Park to Smuggler Mountain Trail.

The Motherlode is one of the most popular beach doubles volleyball tournaments in the country. Held on both sand and grass courts at 5 different playing sites in/around Aspen, Colorado. Upwards of 500 teams and their entourages invade Aspen, Colorado every Labor Day Weekend to celebrate the sport of beach volleyball. Parties abound. Competition is fierce, and, yet, friendly, at all levels. And, the fun is contagious. Masters, Seniors, Amateurs, and Professionals all meeting at one of the most gorgeous resorts in North America for five days of volleyball, friends' reunions, and, of course, fun and volleyball in the Rocky Mountains.
