The workshops are geared toward parents of children ages 0-8, however, these strategies are appropriate for kids of all ages. The workshops will help families learn skills to promote social emotional development, teach children about their emotions and how to self-regulate, and learn how to address challenging behavior. Class meets via Zoom from 6:30 -8 p.m. every Tuesday (except for Election Day- November 3) beginning October 13. Class topics include:• October 13 – Making a connection with your child• October 20 – Encouraging positive behavior• October 27 – Developing clear expectations• November 5 – Teaching problem-solving• November 10 – Promoting positive behavior• November 17 – Enacting prevention strategies for challenging behaviorsThe classes are taught by Kids First credentialed coaches Megan Monaghan and Adley Kent.
