Power Outage Scheduled for Emergency Repair

Updated at 5:35 a.m.: Electric crews were able to pinpoint the location of the faulty cable and make repairs. Power was restored by 5:30 a.m.

Power Outage Scheduled for Emergency Repair

The City of Aspen has scheduled a power outage for a large portion of the Downtown Core for this morning, Thursday, March 24, starting at 4 a.m. The outage is for an emergency electrical repair requiring the shut down of most of this area’s electrical system for worker and system safety. Traffic lights will be impacted. Power will be restored to the area by 6 a.m.
