Community Picnic - August 15 at Red Brick Center for the Arts

city council staff picnic

Aspen City Council’s annual picnic for the community will take place on Wednesday, August 15 from 4:30-7pm at the Red Brick Center for the Arts lawn.  The picnic, which provides free locally-sourced food for the first 750 people, will feature activities for kids including Kidtoons, face paintings, art tables and more.  The ethos of the picnic is for Council to gather Aspenites together in a celebration of summer and to show Council members’ appreciation for the community-at-large.  Leashed dogs are welcome.

This year’s picnic, which is being held on a weeknight after work is an effort to invigorate locals to come to a downtown location during dinner hours.  Please walk, take the bus, or carpool.  We look forward to seeing you.
